Act Now! ATF Will Transfer AR-15 Pistols and Braces To The NFA And GCA. Here's What To Do

Invasive gun control is undesirable for any freedom-loving Americans. However, bureaucrats and politicians usually attack our constitutional rights without considering how their actions affect our . Under such circumstances, most people become disillusioned and lose faith in our political system. But this should not always be the case.

Fortunately, our democracy still grants us a fighting chance, and an opportunity to confront institutional tyranny and the overreach of non-elected career bureaucrats.

The recent DOJ's publication is a reminder that bureaucrats in Washington mean business. They have been doing it for years and they're not about to stop.

It all started with the bump stock ban by the Trump administration, the classification of Q LLC’s “Honey Badger” as a short-barreled rifle, the determination of SB Tactical's pistol braces as stocks, and the recent Polymer80's raid.

Now the wayward bureau wants to classify AR-15 pistols as short-barreled rifles or “any other weapon” (AOW) and almost all pistol stabilizing braces as stocks. Both items will be subject to the National Firearms Act (NFA) and the Gun Control Act (GCA) regulations and a $200 tax. Hypocritically, the bureau wants to waive the federal tax for the recently classified weapons as a gesture of “good faith.”

At Lone Star Gun Rights, we believe that this classification is arbitrary, unfair, and misguided. STAND WITH LONE STAR GUN RIGHTS! SIGN THE PETITION!

The DOJ published the list of objective design features used to classify firearms and components as NFA items. The list includes the type and caliber, weight and length, length of pull, attachment method, stabilizing brace design features, aim point, secondary grip, sights and scopes, and peripheral accessories. The document subtly outlaws any non-registered AR-15 and pistol braces.

The document is subject to public comments which you can send electronically or physically through the mail. Since we still live in a Democracy, the ATF is legally obliged to receive public input and respond accordingly.

This is the moment we tell them that the classification is misinformed and contrary to the constitution and our Second Amendment rights.

This window is an opportunity for all of us to get involved before it slams shut. It will be the last frontier before we lose the fight and allow tyranny to triumph over our freedom.
