Act Now! The Future Of The Second Amendment Depends On Two Senate Runoff Elections In Georgia
The Presidential elections are far from over, and Democrats are working like beavers to destroy any evidence that would expose the massive corruption. Meanwhile, the second amendment's fate resides in Georgia, where two Senate seats are up for grabs in two runoff elections.
Currently, Republicans are leading with a 50-48 Senate majority. If the Democrats were to win the remaining seats in Georgia, the Senate would be split in half.
Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY) would share Senate leadership responsibilities, while the vice president would be the tiebreaker.
If Biden were declared the president despite the insurmountable evidence of voter fraud, Kamala Harris would help end the deadlock. However, it would be a relief if Trump retained the presidency and Mike Pence became the tiebreaker.
Even with a Trump presidency, things are hardly as straightforward as they appear because of a clique of unreliable Republicans such as Mitt Romney (R-UT), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Susan Collins (R-ME). The three senators are highly likely to vote alongside Democrats, contrary to the party position and against Americans' rights.
In contrast, Democrats would tow their party line with little regard for Americans' constitutional rights. If Democrats won the two senate seats in Georgia, they could do away with the filibuster and proceed with court packing.
That means that they could pass gun control with a simple majority. "Assault weapons" and "high capacity" magazine bans would be passed, possibly with the help of the mentioned rogue Republicans.
The democrats would also pass bills expanding the ATF's power to regulate firearms. A bill that would "remove irresponsible statutory restrictions" was already filed in Congress by Don Beyer (D-VA-08) and Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD). With such powers, the bureau would undertake aggressive and unchecked reclassification of semiautomatic firearms and other gun-related components.
Consequently, all semi-autos would become NFA items subject to registration and a $200 tax stamp. Additionally, the fiasco involving pistol braces and short-barreled rifles would continue unabated.
As a gun owner, manufacturer, retailer, or enthusiast, supporting David Purdue and Kelly Loeffler in the January 5 special elections would be fighting for your constitutional rights.
Mail-in ballots are already in progress, while in-person voting starts on December 14, 2020. Meanwhile, you can sign the petition at www.SaveUSSenate.org as a start.
