Armed Citizens Guard Neighborhoods as Protestors Threaten to Move to the Suburbs

Protestors warned they would hit the suburbs after nothing more was left to destroy in Minneapolis and other cities. The unidentified protestor made the remarks during an on-site live recording interview with Unicorn Riots. However, his sentiments were widely held by many groups taking part in the protests.

“Ain't nothing left here, so when we start coming to the suburbs, when we come to the government center, then what y'all gonna do?”

“So that's just what's gonna happen, you know – f**k the police.”

However, residents of Bellevue Suburb in Seattle did not take the threats lightly. The citizen stood on guard with Firearms, trucks, and a dog at the entrance of one of the neighborhoods. Drivers passed safely and slowed down to watch the spectacle displayed by the armed neighbors.

Protests were relatively peaceful in Seattle, despite looters breaking into Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square, The Bravern, and surrounding small shops. A cleanup campaign has also started in the city, which is currently littered with broken glass and smoke billowing from the remnants of burnt property and bonfire.

Similar vigilance took place in downtown Snohomish Washington where openly carrying residents patrolled the streets. According to the Snohomish Police department, about 200 people manned the streets, most of them armed. The police kept their presence to ensure everything remained under control.

In other cities such as Chicago, protestors invaded the suburbs, causing wanton destruction of property. Looters invaded the Little Village, which is occupied by mostly Latino residents. The vandals invaded a shoe store, a Family Dollar store, and a South Side strip mall. The mayor of Calumet City declared a state of emergency to slow down the violent protests.

The current protests have highlighted the need for citizens to bear arms to protect their businesses and their homes. With the police overwhelmed by the large crowds of protestors, citizens were forced to form groups capable of deterring lawlessness. The organization of the armed citizens closely resembles the armed militias the inventors of the Second Amendment had envisioned.

Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is pushing universal background checks in our state, and if left unchecked, it will not be long until we see bills like this getting traction in Austin. Texas is embarrassingly ranked 29th for gun rights, and with the help of the political elites in Austin, we will surely rank among New York, California, and Illinois if left to their own devices. Please join our fight today, and help us restore Texas' place as the standard for the U.S.
