CIVIL WAR LOOMING IN VIRGINIA AS DEMS’ PUSH FOR MORE GUN CONTROL

After Governor Ralph Northam abandoned his calls for dialogue and decided to chest gun control in the state, the atmosphere has become tense.

Thousands of residents have held rallies across the state to show the opposition to the proposed gun control legislation, with some promising of a violent resistance should the governor decide to enforce the unpopular laws. Governor Northam has vowed to push with the proposed gun control legislation regardless of the public opposition. Some members of his party have advised him to deploy the National Guard indicating a possible escalation of the situation.

The Democratic legislators have already banned firearms in the state Capitol ahead of a rally organized by Virginia Citizens Defense League, in which various local and out of state militia will be going to attend, and some were expected to park heat. The number of militias in the state has also been rising, while almost all counties and major cities have declared second amendment sanctuaries and declared their resistance to enforcing gun restrictions.

The discussion of civil war has become common, both online and in government meetings which have attracted large crowds of second amendment supporters. Some democrats have received death threats from angry residents.

The democrats took over the legislature in Virginia backed by funding from various gun control groups. The lawmakers are focused on fast-tracking gun control bills that have always failed in the Virginia legislature dominated by Republicans for the past two and a half decades.

Although the Democrats control both houses, the public remains strongly pro-Second Amendment. Many residents are prepared to fight the “tyranny” of the state government that is focused on enforcing the unconstitutional gun control legislation. If the current trend continues, Virginia might become the flashpoint of armed resistance against the assault of the Second Amendment rights.

Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is pushing universal background checks in our state, and if left unchecked, it will not be long until we see bills like this getting traction in Austin. Texas is embarrassingly ranked 29th for gun rights, and with the help of the political elites in Austin, we will surely rank among New York, California, and Illinois if left to their own devices. Please join our fight today, and help us restore Texas' place as the standard for the U.S.
