A Georgia Congresswoman-elect called for the defunding of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives for its role in the murder of a border patrol agent during the "Fast and Furious" operation. The bureau allowed criminals to buy firearms to track them but ended up losing about 2000 firearms.
Rep.-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene (R – District 14) blamed the ATF for the death of a border patrol agent who was killed using an ATF-provided firearm.
“10 years ago today, U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was murdered in cold blood with a gun provided to Mexican drug cartels through Barack Obama and Eric Holder's ATF "Fast & Furious" program,” Greene tweeted. “The ATF is an oppressive government agency that should be DEFUNDED and ELIMINATED!”
Greene is an ardent supporter of the second amendment, earning her the title of "gun-totting far-right conspiracy theorist" by the radical left.
Brandishing an AR-15, Greene warned Black Lives Matter and Antifa protesters to “stay the hell out of north-west Georgia” in June.
She also appeared with a firearm alongside the pictures of Democrats Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib, who she described as “Hate America leftists [who] want to take this country down.” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi described the stunt as a “dangerous threat of violence.”
In her defense, Greene said that that she "NEVER threatened violence to the squad or anyone." She told Business Insider that her “post with the meme said America needs fighters who speak the truth."
Although the Leftists consider her as a conspiracy theorist, the only proven conspiracy is between the ATF and Joe Biden to undermine the second amendment rights of Americans.
The agency is trying to ban pistol braces that help millions of disabled Americans to control their firearms and avoid unintended injuries - a gun safety measure. The same components are hardly specifically used in crimes and banning them has no public safety benefits.
