Democrat Bob Casey Makes Coronavirus Political Case for Gun Control, Netizens Had None of It

A Pennsylvania Democrat Sen. Bob Casey tried to make a political case for coronavirus and gun control on Twitter. However, his attempt to politicize the coronavirus outbreak earned him ridicule from netizens who schooled him about coronavirus and gun control.

"Right now in America, it is easier to get an AR-15 than a test kit for COVID-19," Sen. Casey posted on his Twitter account.

"For crying out loud, you win the gold for using a pandemic that originated in a communist country as an argument to restrict citizens' rights," Dana Loesch replied to him on twitter.

"Good," Jesse Kelly replied. "Cause I'm more scared of your tyrannical impulses than I am coronavirus."

Joey Saladino had similar remarks for the wayward senator, "Good, because Democrat tyranny stops for nothing."

We are Texalorians... Weapons are our religion.... This is the way, y'all... Show your Texalorian Pride with this kick ass shirt!

Walter Olson pointed out the Democrats obsession using politicizing tragedies for political gains, "Formula: connect a genuinely urgent issue to an issue you want to keep talking about even though its level of urgency just plunged."

Some like Sen. Ben Shapiro reminded him that it was time to deregulate both AR-15s and coronavirus test-kits. Others outright made fun of him.

"Right now in America, it is easier to get an AR-15 than toilet paper," replied a user named Colonel Angus.

This is not the first time Democrats have tried to link two unrelated issues. The former president Barrack Obama made similar remarks about school children's ability to access AR-15 than books, which, according to factcheck.org, was false.

"We flood communities with so many guns that it is easier for a teenager to buy a Glock than get his hands on a computer or even a book," Obama said.

According to Democrats, the inability of citizens to receive certain services is a good excuse to demand the limitation of people's freedoms in another area even though the two issues are not related.

Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is pushing universal background checks in our state, and if left unchecked, it will not be long until we see bills like this getting traction in Austin. Texas is embarrassingly ranked 29th for gun rights, and with the help of the political elites in Austin, we will surely rank among New York, California, and Illinois if left to their own devices. Please join our fight today, and help us restore Texas' place as the standard for the U.S.
