Former Senator Says Women Are “Sick Of All These Guns” – Data Says Otherwise

During MSNBC’s Deadline, Former US senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) claimed that Trump was spreading fear and encouraging people to carry firearms for mischievous reasons. While everyone is familiar with all these false allegations coming from the radical left, McCaskill decided to make her story sound more plausible by saying that women did not support firearm ownership. McCaskill was triggered by the new statistics showing that out of the 5 million new firearm buyers this year, 2 million were women.

“Trump is saying to these people, take your gun to town. Let’s see if we can have a rumble. And, you know, the American suburban women, they see that. And they don’t like everybody having an AR-15. That’s part of the problem in America right now.” McCaskill said. “And the guns is a huge part of this. And women in America are sick of all of these guns.”

To put things into perspective, women (and the minority) are the fastest-growing demographics in firearm ownership. Similarly, their numbers have been on an upward trend for the past 20 years.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) says that 25% of all American women own firearms in 2020, up from just 13% in 2003. A quarter of the gun-owning American women say a firearm is important for self-defense. Seventy percent (70%) say a firearm is crucial for their freedom, according to a survey carried out by the Pew Research Center.

Unfortunately, the left does not like liberated women or people who can fight for themselves. That is the reason the Democratic party has been discouraging firearm ownership for women and the minority to ensure they remained vulnerable so that democrats could have a reason to rally them to the ballot by promising to fight for them.

Additionally, Americans are aware of the current events taking place in the country. The ongoing BLM riots, the slowed police response rates due to COVID-19, the defund the police movement, and the release of violent criminals are enough reasons for Americans to buy more firearms for self-defense. Consequently, Americans do not need to be tricked into prioritizing their security.

Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is pushing universal background checks in our state, and if left unchecked, it will not be long until we see bills like this getting traction in Austin. Texas is embarrassingly ranked 29th for gun rights, and with the help of the political elites in Austin, we will surely rank among New York, California, and Illinois if left to their own devices. Please join our fight today, and help us restore Texas' place as the standard for the U.S.
