"If You Bring Guns, We're Gonna Bring Guns," Marine Ready to Take Up Arms Against Govt Restrictions

An ex-marine officer, Adam Smith, said he is willing to take up arms and give his life in the fight against restrictions enacted by various state and local authorities. Smith said he is ready to bring guns if the government resorted to applying force to stop protests against restrictions. The former fighter and the husband of the ReOpen North Carolina founder, Ashley Smith, made the statements in a 17-minute video shared on Facebook.

Adam warned authorities against trying to use force, saying the citizens have the numbers to retaliate. He said the only way to remain free to step up and fight.

"You wanna go to the full force time? We have the forces to retaliate. At the end of the day, the only thing that's gonna secure our freedoms is our willingness to step up and fight."

The ex-marine said although they did not prefer to take arms or kill people, they would be compelled to do so. He added that resisting the government did not amount to violence or terrorism.

"Do we want to pick up arms? Do we want to kill anybody? Of course not. Nobody wants to takes lives. We don't wanna kill anybody. But, are we willing to kill people? Are we willing to lay our lives down? We have to say yes. Is that violence? Is that terrorism? no, it's not terrorism."

He said the citizens would match the force and the weaponry of the government if it attempted to use violence to suppress the protests.

"If you bring force, we're gonna bring force. If you bring guns, we're gonna bring guns. If you're armed with this, we're gonna be armed with this."

Smith indicated that the reason our country remains free is because of the willingness of its citizens to fight against tyranny.

"And that's why America has been free. That's why we remain free. because we are willing to step up and fight against the forces of tyranny."

Although Smith deleted the initial post, his wife shared the recording with her ReOpenNC Facebook group. Mrs Smith said her group was built on the tenets of the constitution, including the Second Amendment rights, and her husband was willing to defend his family and freedom. Mrs Smith was arrested for protesting against Gov. Roy Cooper’s orders outside the Governor’s Mansion in downtown Raleigh.

When contacted by Raw Story, Smith said he did not wish for any bloodshed but wanted "the men of this country stand up" and make the government aware of what the citizens were willing to do.

"We know that freedom from time to time has to be renewed by the blood of tyrants," Smith said.

Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is pushing universal background checks in our state, and if left unchecked, it will not be long until we see bills like this getting traction in Austin. Texas is embarrassingly ranked 29th for gun rights, and with the help of the political elites in Austin, we will surely rank among New York, California, and Illinois if left to their own devices. Please join our fight today, and help us restore Texas' place as the standard for the U.S.
