Joe Biden’s campaign manager and Chief of Staff Jen O’Malley Dillon has a long history of anti-gun extremism. Before working for Biden, she served as Beto O’Rourke’s campaign manager during his failed Democratic presidential nomination bid.
After O’Rourke openly declared his AR-15 confiscation plan, Dillon tried to prop the idea despite the backlash from Americans, including the Democrats, who strongly condemned the proposal.
“We are actually the only campaign with a plan … that supports mandatory buybacks of weapons of war," Dillon said. "An assault weapon ban is very, very important, and we need to have it, but that only takes weapons of war off the streets in the future. It does nothing for weapons of war that are currently out there.”
She pointed out that their plan would collect between 15 and 16 million rifles. Kamala Harris had a similar mandatory buyback program that would confiscate over 2 million firearms.
However, Biden’s plan would be the most extensive anti-gun campaign affecting over 20 million rifles and 150 million “high capacity” magazines. His plan would impose a $34 billion tax on law-abiding Americans, according to NSSF figures.
Biden wishes to surround himself with the most radical anti-gun extremists to ensure the success of his anti-gun agenda. His campaign manager would help him fill the White House with even more gun control staffers.
Dillon transferred the anti-gun agenda from O’Rourke’s camp to Biden’s campaign. She would carry the same attitude to the White House should Biden be declared the president.
