Kanye West: You Will Be Enslaved. Guns Don't Kill People. People Kill People

Kanye West defended the Second Amendment during his stream-of-consciousness rally held in South Carolina on Sunday. West, who has injected new perspectives on various issues such as slavery, said disarmed citizens were sitting ducks and vulnerable for enslavement.

"When other countries come in and you have no weapons, what do you think is going to happen? You will be enslaved," West said. "Guns don't kill people. People kill people."

Kanye also said he enjoys shooting guns in his 4,000-acre ranch in Wyoming.

"I can shoot AR-15s all day without going to jail," the rapper said.

We are Texalorians... Weapons are our religion.... This is the way, y'all... Show your Texalorian Pride with this kick ass shirt!

Apart from the Second Amendment, West also addressed other issues such as abortion, the black vote, and slavery. He blasted Harriet Tubman, saying she "never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other white people."

He denied allegations that he was splitting the black vote. According to the radical Left, black people are supposed to vote as a block, based on their color of the skin. They are also not supposed to enjoy the Second Amendment rights like other citizens. That mentality stems from the racist roots of gun control.

Despite Kanye's support for the Second Amendment rights, his wife, Kim Kardashian, has, in the past, advocated for more gun control. Kim was opposed to Khloe and Jenner's intentions to own firearms.

Kim also visited Bloomberg's Everytown for Gun Safety organization. Like a true gun control activist, Kim said she did not approve of the ownership of firearms but trusted in security guards to protect her family.

"That's what you have security for," Kim said. "I'm not comfortable with it. I wouldn't want my kids around it. I wouldn't want sleepovers going on with the kids and I know there is a gun."

Unlike his wife and other celebrities, Kanye breaks from the typical Hollywood hypocrisy on gun control.

Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is pushing universal background checks in our state, and if left unchecked, it will not be long until we see bills like this getting traction in Austin. Texas is embarrassingly ranked 29th for gun rights, and with the help of the political elites in Austin, we will surely rank among New York, California, and Illinois if left to their own devices. Please join our fight today, and help us restore Texas' place as the standard for the U.S.
