NETFLIX’S “THE RANCH” TURNS INTO GUN CONTROL PROPAGANDA: “HOW MANY GUNS DO YOU REALLY NEED?”
Netflix’s The Ranch turns full liberal by weighing on the gun debate by demonizing gun ownership. The show is in its last episode at which point the producers might not care much about the truth.
Maggie laments her family’s past time activity by questioning the previous hobbies that she enjoyed with her family. "What Was I Thinking?" Maggie asks regarding her enjoyment of shooting guns. After turning her guns to the police and encouraging her husband to do the same, she asks him, "How many guns do you really need?"
The estranged wife recollects her family’s favorite Christmas Wish, “all we want for Christmas is our Second Amendment." Her ex-husband reminds her that he still holds the same wishes at which point Maggie says, “I'm sick of it. I'm sick of people saying they need an assault weapon to defend themselves and I'm sick of turning on the TV and seeing another mass shooting. Beau, why aren't you f***ing sick of it?”
This is another example of Hollywood trying to push its gun control agenda through the use of erroneous facts. By trying to encourage the disarmament of law-abiding citizens, Hollywood ignores the fact that the rise of gun ownership in the United States has led to the reduction of violent crime.
Maybe this is a good representation of the Democrats who live in denial despite the facts proving gun ownership leads to improved security. This fact has been proven uncountable times through the number of shootings taking place in Democratic-controlled gun-free “safe” zones across the country.
Today, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is pushing universal background checks in our state, and if left unchecked, it will not be long until we see bills like this getting traction in Austin. Texas is embarrassingly ranked 29th for gun rights, and with the help of the political elites in Austin, we will surely rank among New York, California, and Illinois if left to their own devices. Please join our fight today, and help us restore Texas' place as the standard for the U.S.
