Officer Under Investigation After Posing with a Multiracial Armed Militia “Displaying White Power”

Proof that anti-gunners will use any excuse under the sun to push the racial narrative of gun ownership, an officer is under internal investigation after posing with an armed group that allegedly displayed symbols of white power.

The accusation emerged after a police officer took a photo with a group of armed 3-Percenters militia, which consisted of gun owners of different races. The group included Hispanic, Jewish, and Black gun owners who were called to offer security by a shop owner afraid of burglary. The group was accused of displaying white power symbols after flashing three fingers sign which is a symbol of their militia.

However, Olympia Mayor Cheryl Selby and Olympia police chief Aaron Jelcick went bananas without bothering to check the facts.

We are Texalorians... Weapons are our religion.... This is the way, y'all... Show your Texalorian Pride with this kick ass shirt!

“I have confirmed a photo of an Olympia police officer posing with a group of armed militia members, some of whom are displaying white power signs. I find this behavior to be abhorrent and unequivocally unacceptable,” the mayor said.

The truth is that the mayor did not confirm the racial composition of the group or the meaning of the sign displayed by the members. She decided to roll with whatever racial narrative that fitted with her misguided perception of gun ownership.

“I am disappointed and frustrated that the photo was taken at all, but particularly at this sensitive time in our city and nation,” the police chief said in a statement.

He added that the photo would damage the trust the community has on the police and that his officers should remain neutral.

If not already aware, the photo was a symbol of neutrality, bringing unity between Olympians of all races, as well as cooperation between civilians and the police. It is impressive to see police officers posing with a multiracial group of civilians, especially during moments when some believe that law enforcement officers are the public enemy.

Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is pushing universal background checks in our state, and if left unchecked, it will not be long until we see bills like this getting traction in Austin. Texas is embarrassingly ranked 29th for gun rights, and with the help of the political elites in Austin, we will surely rank among New York, California, and Illinois if left to their own devices. Please join our fight today, and help us restore Texas' place as the standard for the U.S.
