Pro-Second Amendment Trump Supporter Wins Miss USA

A pro-Second Amendment and pro-Trump contestant won the highly prestigious Miss USA 2020. Asya Branch, 22, impressed the judges not only with her looks but also her wits as she discussed various issues dividing the country. She kicked off the debate by discussing how Americans had lost trust in the media.

“I think this is an issue of trust,' Branch said. 'We've lost trust in the systems that seem to keep our country running, from the media to business to our government.”

She also discussed other topics such as mental health reforms, voter participation, climate change, and prison reforms.

She urged Americans to work together to heal and restore trust in the systems. Branch added that to keep America great, we had to set a better example.

Earlier, the Ole Miss marketing major student performed the Star Spangled Banner at a Trump rally. The 22-year old also disclosed that she had participated in a criminal justice reform round-table discussion with President Trump at the Whitehouse. In 2018, she also sang the national anthem at the Trump Southaven, Mississippi, rally.

Asya was crowned Miss USA in the Elvis Presley-themed event at Graceland mansion in Memphis, Tennessee. She became the first Mississippian and African American to win the highly coveted prize.

Miss Branch also confessed her passion for the Second Amendment. Asya also discussed the futility of gun control and opposed the banning of firearms. Biden and Harris have promised to ban semi-automatic firearms described as “assault weapons.”

"I think it's important that we not ban guns because obviously, people will find a way to get what they want anyways. I think it's our second amendment right. We just need more safety surrounding that."

However, she recommended mandatory training for licensing and firearm purchases.

The crowned Miss USA also revealed that she has suffered racism and that her father was incarcerated when she was ten years old.

It seems Asya has her mind in the right direction, unlike other entertainers who believe that they must embrace liberalism and oppose gun rights to fit in. Evidently, 22-year old is more patriotic than Biden, Harris, and Obama combined.
