Suppressors? Trump: "I don't like them at all"

President Trump made anti-gun remarks again. This time regarding Firearm suppressors in regards to the recent Virginia Beach Shooting.

Well color us shocked!... We at Lone Star Gun Rights have been raising the alarm on Trump and his federal level gun restrictions for some time and always get the usual response of "who cares about bumpstocks" or we need to read "art of the deal" and understand "4d chess".

June 2. 2019- Trump made statements on the South Lawn before departure for a UK trip.

A reporter had asked: "The suspect in the Virginia Beach shooting used a silencer on his weapon. Do you believe that silencers should be restricted?"

The President responded: "I don’t like them at all."

This comment by Trump raises our eyebrows as Trump made similar comments shortly after the Vegas Shooting going after BumpStocks. Even though bumpstocks were approved under Obama administration twice, Trump decided to ban them through Executive Fiat after only 1 incident to which many questions remain unanswered.

As many states are currently passing Red Flag/ Mental Health Firearm Confiscation Bills its easy to see the Presidents stance with comments made like this “Take the guns first, go through due process second,” Trump said.

Would raising the age to purchase a rifle to 21 be considered Pro-Gun? Remember these comments Trump had previously made about raising the age?

"I'm going to give it a lot of consideration," Trump said. "People aren't bringing it up because they're afraid to bring it up. You can't buy a handgun at 18, 19 or 20. You have to wait until you're 21. You could buy the weapon used in this horrible shooting at 18. You are going to decide - the people in this room pretty much - are going to decide. I would give very serious thought to it."

It is a shame that a President who claims to be the most Pro Second Amendment President and has a republican majority isn't making comments about expanding the Second Amendment or removing the nearly 30k Firearm Laws we currently have on the books but is commenting support for more restrictions while enacting gun control via executive fiat.
