Thirty Speakers To Address The 2020 2A Rally On Saturday 24 Oct
A diverse pool of gun rights advocates will speak at the 2020 2A Rally. The guests will share their perspectives and ideas on celebrating and defending the Second Amendment rights.
The event is a non-partisan, non-affiliated, and non-sponsored event focusing on Americans' rights to own guns. Because of the ongoing coronavirus-related restrictions, the rally will stream virtually on various platforms, including Facebook and YouTube.
The 2020 2A Rally was initially planned to happen in Washington DC, where the first rally was held last year. However, the authorities changed their policies regarding public gatherings. Similar events were forced to cancel to comply with the host's coronavirus regulations.
Other events went virtual and featured pre-recorded speeches, which were broadcasted on various streaming platforms. The 2020 2A rally will feature live and recorded speeches, and the hosts will engage and interact with the viewers. They will also discuss the rally speakers with their audience.
The speakers will also host "watch parties" on their social media pages and interact with their viewers. Consequently, the 2020 Second Amendment rally could be among the most interactive virtual event.
The 2020 2A Rally will blast the myth claiming that Second Amendment rights are racist. The pool of speakers will feature 2A activists from diverse backgrounds such as race, gender, religion, political, or lifestyle choices. Half of the speakers participated in last year's event, while the other half are fresh speakers.
"The 2A Rally is the most diverse collection of speakers from the Gun Community ever put into one event. This is our Second Annual Event in support of the Second Amendment. One of our key goals is to remind everyone that American Gun Owners are part of every demographic group, lifestyle, and political affiliation," a statement by the event organizers reads.
Some notable individuals include Alan Gottlieb, the SAF founder and executive vice president, Maj Toure, a black gun-rights activist, Leo Katsareas, a Muslim 2A advocate, and Johanna Rosaly, a Latinx supporter of the right to own.
Interested parties can search for the event listed as "Rally for your 2A Rights" and set reminders.
Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is pushing universal background checks in our state, and if left unchecked, it will not be long until we see bills like this getting traction in Austin. Texas is embarrassingly ranked 29th for gun rights, and with the help of the political elites in Austin, we will surely rank among New York, California, and Illinois if left to their own devices. Please join our fight today, and help us restore Texas' place as the standard for the U.S.
