U.S. Voters Prefer Living In Places Allowing Private Firearm Ownership

Most American voters prefer living “where individuals are allowed to own guns,” according to a poll by Just the News Daily and Scott Rasmussen.

Across political parties, sixty-three percent (63%) of all voters said they would prefer living in jurisdictions that respect the citizens' right to keep and bear arms. Just about a quarter (26%) of all the respondents said they would prefer living in areas where private firearm ownership was outlawed.

Comparatively, every four out of five Republicans (83%) preferred jurisdictions protecting individuals’ right to keep firearms, while nearly half of Democrats (45%) preferred the same.

Twelve percent (12%) of American voters were unsure about their position on the 2A.

This poll's outcome is hardly surprising considering that most gun-controlled jurisdictions are also the most violent and uninhabitable places. This is because gun control has failed to stop criminals from illegally acquiring firearms. Sadly, the same laws undermine the ability of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves.

Biden’s administration plans to regulate various firearms, components, and ammunition thus limiting an individual's ability to keep firearms. These are just the initial steps towards totally preventing individuals from owning guns.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Rep. David Cicilline (D-R.I.) introduced the Assault Weapons Ban of 2021 bill prohibiting the possession of more than 200 firearm models.

Similarly, Democrats in the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force urged the Biden administration to regulate AR-15 pistols under the National Firearms Act using executive action.

If Democrats passed every gun control proposal as they wished, the Second Amendment would only exist on paper. Gun grabbers understand that repealing the 2A would be rejected by American voters. Thus, they try to sneak various unconstitutional laws cumulatively having similar effects as a total ban.

If American voters do not stop these anti-gun legislators from acting against their interests, our constitution will eventually become a mere piece of paper.
