Police were called after a female occupant shot a naked man at 4101 HWY 365, Avery Trace Apartments, Port Arthur, Texas. The male intruder knocked at the entrance of the unfamiliar female at around 1 p.m.
When the resident answered the door, the stranger walked in without an invitation. The female resident discharged her weapon, striking him in the lower extremities, according to the police statement. No arrests were made, and the subject is expected to survive.
Incidents involving naked attackers are not very uncommon. A woman was sexually assaulted by a naked man who entered into her apartment in Viewpointe Village Apartments, Detroit, in 2018. The man broke into the house without any clothes before trying to force himself on the woman.
The occupant was awakened after the attacker pulled off her covers. The victim hit the attacker with a broom, and he managed to escape without revealing his identity. Police said that other women had suffered similar attacks.
Police also fatally shot a naked man who was chewing the face of another naked man in downtown Miami in 2012. The naked cannibal could not stop munching on his victim and growled at the police officer who shot him to stop the attack.
Given the frequency of sexual assaults, the woman was scared when a naked man entered her apartment without an invitation. The man could have been under drugs or intoxicated, in which case, his judgment was impaired. If the bare man was looking for a place to hide his nakedness, he was better off asking for assistance rather than forcing his way into the apartment.
Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is pushing universal background checks in our state, and if left unchecked, it will not be long until we see bills like this getting traction in Austin. Texas is embarrassingly ranked 29th for gun rights, and with the help of the political elites in Austin, we will surely rank among New York, California, and Illinois if left to their own devices. Please join our fight today, and help us restore Texas' place as the standard for the U.S.
