Zimmerman Sues Warren and Buttigieg For $265m for Defamation to Win Black Voters using Gun Control

George Zimmerman is back in the courts with allegations of defamation against Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg. Zimmerman accused the two of defaming him to woo black voters using gun control and racism, court documents obtained by oxygen.com reveal. The complainant claims that the two candidates link the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin with gun violence and racism despite the courts proving that he acted in self-defense. Zimmerman claims compensation of $265 million from both candidates.

The lawsuit emanates from the comments the two presidential candidates made on what would have been Martin’s 25th birthday this month. Without mentioning Zimmerman, Pete Buttigieg alluded to Treyvon Martin’s death is the result of gun violence and racism. “How many 25th birthdays have been stolen from us by white supremacy, gun violence, prejudice, and fear?” he concluded the tweet with #BlackLivesMatter, a movement that started after the incident. Warren made a similar post in commemoration that read, “We need to end gun violence and racism.”

We are Texalorians... Weapons are our religion.... This is the way, y'all... Show your Texalorian Pride with this kick ass shirt!

Zimmerman’s attorney indicates that the social media posts victimized his client and caused him irreparable damage through false impressions. The lawyer delinked the events with gun violence. “There was nothing about Zimmerman’s act of self-defense that could fit the public understanding of someone engaging in ‘gun violence,’” he explained.

Zimmerman has another open case against Martin’s mother, a civil rights lawyer, and a book publisher for claiming that the original evidence was falsified. Zimmerman is claiming damages at the tune of $100 million. Whether he succeeds in getting his demands, this lawsuit will make democrats rethink their obsession of capitalizing unfortunate incidents to advance their gun control agenda.

Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is pushing universal background checks in our state, and if left unchecked, it will not be long until we see bills like this getting traction in Austin. Texas is embarrassingly ranked 29th for gun rights, and with the help of the political elites in Austin, we will surely rank among New York, California, and Illinois if left to their own devices. Please join our fight today, and help us restore Texas' place as the standard for the U.S.
